About

Hi, I’m Shane Karl – a lifelong technology enthusiast, leader, and problem-solver with a passion for building strong teams and delivering results.

My journey began in 2000 when I graduated high school and went on to earn my Computer Science degree from Texas Woman’s University. From the start, I knew that technology wasn’t just a career path for me — it was something I genuinely loved.

My IT career started as a data center intern at Sales Support Service, an experience that ignited my passion for IT and set me on a path I’ve followed ever since. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with several incredible organizations:

  • Loris Hospital Gift Shops – PC Technician
  • Southwest Airlines Federal Credit Union – Systems Administrator
  • Infor – Systems Administrator
  • Sabre Holdings – Director of Service Delivery, managing leveraged systems

Through these roles, I’ve grown from a hands-on technician to a proven leader, driving innovation and building high-performing teams. My leadership style is rooted in curiosity, collaboration, and a drive to make technology work for people — not the other way around.


Outside of Work

When I’m not deep in technology, you’ll find me exploring the outdoors or working on our small family hobby farm. I’m a certified rescue diver, ham radio operator, Beekeeper and an avid outdoorsman and hunter. I also strongly believe in volunteering and giving back to my community.

These passions outside of work help me stay grounded and bring balance to my life, while also reinforcing my problem-solving mindset and commitment to teamwork.

At my core, I’m techy, a bit of a nerd, and endlessly curious. I thrive on challenges, enjoy finding creative solutions, and love helping others grow. My ultimate goal is to inspire those around me, build teams that succeed together, and deliver meaningful, lasting results.
