The alarm clock goes off at 6:30 AM, and the day begins. A quick shower, a glance at my inbox, and a small breakfast later, I’m logging into work, ready to tackle whatever technical challenges await.
From 8 to 5, my world revolves around IT — a steady stream of emails, team calls, and problem-solving sessions. Some days are packed with one-on-one meetings, others with brainstorming solutions to unexpected issues. It’s a fast-paced environment that keeps me sharp and always learning. The problems might be complex, but there’s a certain satisfaction in finding the right fix and keeping systems running smoothly.
Then 5 PM rolls around, and it’s time to trade my keyboard for a pair of boots. I change into my outdoor clothes, hop into the tractor, and brush hog pastures or head out to check on the cows.

Evenings on the farm are unpredictable. Some nights, I get to witness the miracle of birth, a new calf taking its first wobbly steps. Other nights, I’m searching until dark for that one cow that always seems to find the perfect hiding spot.

Sometimes, one of the farm cats follows me everywhere, keeping me company as I make my rounds. Other times, they disappear like ghosts, wanting nothing to do with me — typical cats.

By the time I finally make it back to the house, I’m tired but fulfilled. It’s a balance of technology and tradition, code and cattle, that keeps life interesting.
Every day brings a new challenge, whether it’s a stubborn bug in a program or a stubborn cow in the field. And honestly? I wouldn’t have it any other way. Life is good!
